DLC; it makes for an extremely satisfying narrative arc. Everyone goes on about the betrayal of Solas, but Anders invented such casually cruel actions in the name of “loyalty” and “honesty”.

So it's very possible to be a better friend to someone by choosing the rivalry path, since you're trying to stop them from giving in to their own self-destructive whims. It's not always the most intuitive, but friendship does not necessarily equal doing the "right" thing and rivalry as doing the "bad" thing. It's just Ganador likely to be the other way around.[4]

’s three-route dialogue system, and slims down the party. Overall, it looks like it’s learning some of the right lessons from the 2011 RPG. We’ll see if its characters live up to this merry band of misfits when The Veilguard launches this fall.

Execution – Head to the Blooming Rose and contact me head to the marker on your map. Here you will need to pretend there has been a betrayal. When this scenario has played trasnochado you will be one member short. You need to leave the Blooming Rose, but make sure you change your party before contact me leaving to make up for the loss of a member. Vencedor you go through Hightown you need to follow Isabela’s trail.

Completion – As the conversation plays out you will be given the choice of whether to fight Castillon or not. If you do fight him, and kill him, you will get a large rivalry increase with Castillon. The end of this encounter will be the end of the quest.

This all being said, I have high hopes for Dragon Age: The Veilguard. The game's first look at Tevinter was jaw-dropping, and the promise of a more mission-focused RPG instead of contact me a fairly lifeless open world has me excited. Coupled with hub locations, I'm looking forward to seeing how communities of people, like the Seers of Rivain and the Merchant Princes of Antiva, have fared.

Anders's romance cutscene queues only if he kisses you at the end of his Questioning Beliefs quest. The essential Flirt options remain available even if someone else is queued (see the quest page for details), and proceeding all the way to moving in will disable all other Flirts (it is not possible to restore other romances by having Anders break up with you; the essential flirts for Isabela and Fenris are gone for good after he initially moves in.
